Always at the top of its appellation with this superb Bordeaux Superior Cuvée Louisa Bio 2016, aged 12 months in oak barrels, 1/3 of new barrels, traditional vinification with long vatting (vines 25 years on average, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon on clay-limestone soil), with an intense nose where ripe fruits and humus intertwine, is a full-bodied wine, with tannins present and tasty, very well bred, combining power and finesse, keeping. The 2015 is in the line, very fragrant, persistent nose (cherry, violet), very balanced, with tasty tannins, ample and fragrant, combining power and finesse on the palate, with shades of candied cherry and humus. The 2014 Silver Medal at the 2016 Organic Amphore Paris Wine Competition and Bronze at the 2016 Organic Challenge 2016, the 2016 International Wine Challenge and at Mâcon 2016, are garnet-red, with a powerful and persistent nose of wild strawberry and blackcurrant, with, on the palate, shades of smoke and ripe plum, a wine as we like them, frank and typical, very good guard.
Bordeaux Supérieur 2015, intense on the nose and on the palate, well concentrated but supple, with a complex and subtle nose dominated by candied cherry and humus, is a full-bodied, tasty wine. As for the red Bordeaux Bio 2016, it is very classic, of deep garnet color, all in richness and finesse, a powerful and fleshy wine of mouth, perfumed (blackberry, humus ...), with ripe tannins.
There is also the Bordeaux Rosé Bio Mademoiselle Adele B. de Compostela 2017, a very pleasant wine, very fruity, frank, which combines freshness with roundness. See the Château Pont Les Moines, in the Côtes.

At the top of its appellation. The choice of organic farming was evident for this veterinary osteopathic veterinarian, creator and organizer of the Biological and Handicraft Fair of Libourne since 1999, who embarked on the adventure in 2004 with 2.53 ha of vines installed on two hillsides oriented north-south for Merlots (70%) and east-west for Cabernets-Sauvignon (30%), then 84 acres in 2015, to reach 3.37 ha. Plots are of different ages: 15, 30 and 50 years old. Hand-picked and convivial harvesting, sorted on the feet and on the table at the entrance of the cellar, vinification without yeast, aging in vats and barrels. Biodynamic Demeter certification since 2016.
- The cultural practice: the rows of vines, grassed, allow the fauna and flora auxilliaires. The size is mostly guyot double to two astes with 8 buds per foot. Rows are worked underfoot. The heartbreakers are eliminated. Stripping is done on the side of the rising sun. The vine is accompanied by plant preparations, algae (lithotam), and a minimum of copper and sulfur. The harvest is handmade in a friendly atmosphere. A first selection of berries is done on foot and, since 2008, a second sorting is done on table at the entrance of the cellar.
- The vinification: a first cold maceration precedes the natural fermentation without the contribution of external yeasts. Depending on the year (the amount of harvest) it is sometimes made in barrel open to the old (punching by hand). Post-fermentative hot maceration is generally used. Malolactic fermentation is done in vats or barrels. The aging is partly done in vats and partly in barrels. Bottling is done without filtration (or almost). Maturation takes place at constant temperature in the underground quarry.
"My main goal," says Jean-François Moniot, "is to produce a wine that I love and that I can have fun sharing with friends. My line of conduct is the learning and respect of a terroir and a place, to develop a sincere and authentic wine. "
You are going to love this Bordeaux Bordeaux Super red vintage of the Thousand and One Nights 2015, robust, well fleshy, beautiful deep purple color, nose slightly spicy, sweet on the palate, with hints of cherry and licorice, with melted tannins but structured to that time.
The Bordeaux Supérieur 2014 Bio, 80% Merlot, the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, with a clear cherry red color, develops aromas of cassis and morello cherry and a fresh mouth with melted tannins, is a wine that matches, for example, with veal tenderloin with mushrooms and tomato or lamb fillet with cabbage. The 2012, is pretty dress, bouquet, nose of fresh red berries, very good frame, with balanced tannins, very charming. Excellent 2011, with hints of red fruits and humus, velvety, with a very fine bouquet, powerful, full-bodied, with supple and supple tannins at the same time, very tasty. The 2010 is richer, of course, fragrant and persistent, balanced tannins, and mixes a certain frame with a nice flexibility to the palate, good care.
There is also this Bordeaux Supérieur red cuvée Lise 2012, matured in barrels, which mixes aromatic concentration and delicacy on the palate, with aromas of spices (cinnamon) and sour cherry, with balanced tannins, and this Bordeaux Supérieur Adelaide 2011, rich but fine, very fragrant, nose dominated by plum and musk, harmonious.

At the top of its appellation. Led by Grégory Lovato since 2005, doctor and winegrower, this property of 50 ha (including 33 ha of vines in one piece, on gravelly-siliceous soil), belongs to the Lovato family since 1973, and has been the subject of important investments, plantations or replantings reasoned and thought out in order to obtain a more balanced grape variety, 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, yields favoring quality, traditional vinification with long macerations, aging according to the vintages.

For Grégory Lovato, in 2017, the vines have suffered the damage caused by frost, mainly the plots of Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux where no bottle will be produced. On the high hillsides, the older vineyards have been spared and we will be able to present the vintage Eléonore 2017 which will be of high quality, but reduced in quantity: 50,000 cols. After two years of testing, our wines are now vinified without sulfur and this 2017 vintage is the precursor. We put on the market in 2018 the 2015 and 2016.

You will appreciate this superb Bordeaux Supérieur cuvée Eléonore 2015, very well bred (maceration of 30 days, 30% barrels, 70% vats), nose dominated by spices and small red fruits with a rich and fragrant core on the palate, with these subtle nuances of candied prune, which mixes structure and velvety.
Taste Bordeaux Supérieur red Château Lajarre 2015, with a strong color, notes of undergrowth and blackberry, which combines structure and suppleness.
The Côtes de Bordeaux Castillon Château Canon Montségur cuvée Gaspard 2015, powerful and melted at the same time, complex, with intense flavors (cooked fruits), with harmonious tannins, rich in color, very beautiful evolution, perfect on veal paupiettes in casserole or a beef rib wine merchant.

An estate of 45 ha of vines, passionately led by Patrick Carteyron, fifth generation. The vineyard is located on very localized gravelly soils, between the limestone plateau and the palus zone. It is a quaternary stony terrace brought by the river, consisting of red sands and pebbles rolled by the Dordogne from the Massif Central, whose thickness varies from 5 to 8 m, a poor area suitable for the vine.
Very beautiful Bordeaux Supérieur Les Cailloux 2014, 100% Merlot, with a very developed bouquet with spicy nuances, a complete wine, a very pretty mouth where blackberry and cassis mix, ample and solid. The red Bordeaux Natur 2016, always pure Merlot, vinified and preserved without addition of sulfur, with ripe black fruit scents with hints of musk, with ample and well-balanced tannins, combines structure and charm. There is also this Bordeaux red Cabernet Franc by Chateau Penin 2016, in intense color, supple and vigorous at the same time, with these shades of currant and cinnamon, slightly smoked in the final, and Bordeaux Supérieur Grande Sélection 2014, 100% Merlot , is a silky balance, complex, with these scents of ripe red fruits and a touch of cinnamon very characteristic.
His Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Château La Fleur Penin 2015, 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, vines aged 35 to 70 years old, with a deep robe, in shades of leather and blueberry, is a beautiful complexity, with tannins bold and harmonious, melted notes in the final, ideal, especially, on a veal shank with ceps or roasted quail.
There is still Château Penin Tradition 2015, Château Penin Blanc 2016, all mouth-watering, Château Penin rosé 2017, fruity, with raspberry notes, frank and persistent, and this very attractive Clairet 2017, greedy and supple, frank, perfect as an aperitif or on a quiche.
