38 ha vineyard planted on a stony soil mixed with sand and clay (this is called croups). Built around 1830 by Philippe Delacourt, recognized Seigneur du Bourdieu, in the architectural style of 19th century mansions, the Château already appeared in the 2nd edition of the Féret (1878) as well as in the 1st classification of the Crus Bourgeois of 1932.
Beau Médoc 2016, all in aromas and structure, of a beautiful magnitude, well structured, a wine that smells the strawberry of the woods and humus, with firm tannins and silky at the same time, of a complex finish, of course guard. On 2015, 50% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, old vines of 35 years, aged 12 months in oak barrels, really remarkable, intense garnet colour, balanced, notes of well ripe blackcurrant, with smoke nuances, powerful, full-bodied, a wine that begins to melt. The 2014 is a wine with tannins present, intense on the palate, marked by its terroir, with the scent of cherry and undergrowth, of excellent guard. The 2013 is charming, with a delicate nose of ripe red berries (blackcurrant, blackberry) and humus, with silky tannins, both powerful and fine, a pretty wine combining roundness and structure, where elegance prevails.
The 2012, fleshy, is rich in material, with balanced tannins, where mix blackberry and blackcurrant, ample and solid, rich and robust mouth, guard.
The 2011 is excellent, of a beautiful deep red, concentrated and fruity, with soft tannins, and a nose where dominate the currant and the plum, with a peppery touch.
The 2010, characterized by a complex nose (blackcurrant, spices...), combines power and suppleness, rich and fine, typed, fleshy, full mouth.

The vineyard, 45% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, is located on steep slopes worthy of the best terroirs of the Médoc and benefits from the Atlantic influences of the nearby Ocean, and the presence of the Estuary of the Gironde, creating together the climatic conditions favorable to the development of the grape varieties and the good maturity of the grapes.
Manual and mechanical harvest with selective sorting per plot, aged in barrels for 12 to 18 months, 100%, of which 33% new every year.

For Georges Dadda, “the 2018 harvest was very healthy, the ripe grapes will give an exceptional vintage, the most successful of the last ten years.
The wines have a lot of lamb’s lettuce, fruit, aromas, and the volume is the same as in previous years.
Our sales this year are for 2015, 2016 and the new Médoc “L'Amour cuvée Cupidon” 2016!”

Typical, velvety, its Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2016, all in mouth, with a complex and delicate nose (ripe blackcurrant, leather), combining power and finesse, a rich and well fleshy wine as we like them, a very elegant and velvety finish, excellent evolution.
Beautiful 2015, with a clear cherry red color, which develops a cherry nose but also aromas of blackcurrant and peony and a fresh mouth with rich tannins, a wine with specific and persistent notes of blackberry and pepper, Full mouth, full guard. The 2014, where develop hints of blackberry, gooseberry and smoke, it is full-bodied but velvety, with this powerful mouth in the finish.
Its Médoc Cru Bourgeois Château Amour 2016, 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot, aged from 6 to 8 months 100% in barriques, is intense in color, with strong and ripe tannins, complex nose where cooked fruits dominate, combining structure and elegance in the mouth, it is a warm and well fleshy wine, which still requires a little patience, when 2015, with complex connotations of cherry, plum and undergrowth, has mature tannins, a dense, velvety and ample mouth.
